These 2 ply Olive Ash Burl veneer faces have been professionally laid up by skilled craftsmen.  The veneers are carefully matched and joined for stunning effect.  The face veneer is approximately 1/32" thick.  The face is glued to an approximataely 1/32" thick backer veneer.  The veneer backer adds strength and assures perfect flatness.  The overall thickness is approximately 1/16" thick.
