This Dural contact cement for veneering is the best contact cement I've found for veneer work.  Nevertheless, I suggest that if you have access to one of the following gluing methods that you use that method:

Carpenter's glue with plenty of clamps all over everywhere

Vacuum bag system and carpenter's glue 
               
Veneer press with carpenter's glue

Old fashioned hot hide glue with a veneer hammer

If you don't have access to one of the above methods you are not alone!  In which case I suggest that you try the Dural contact cement shown here.  Bob Morgan
